About the Course
Overview:
This course gives beginners a structured introduction to Yogasana Sports. Students learn competitive formats, judging systems, and essential sports asanas required for stage performance.
Duration:
3 Months
Eligibility:
• Age 14+• Basic fitness• No prior experience required
Modules:
Module 1 – Intro to Yogasana Sports (Theory)• What is Yogasana Sports?• Categories & formats• Scoring: posture, stability, expression, difficulty
Module 2 – Basic Sports Asanas (Practical)• 20 competitive asanas• Entry & exit techniques
Module 3 – Strength & Flexibility Training• Core, leg, shoulder drills• Balance training
Module 4 – Beginner Competition Routine• Designing a 45-sec routine (5–7 asanas)• Stage confidence & expression
Assessment:
• 45-second routine performance• Written test on scoring rules
Certification:
“Certificate in Yogasana Sports Basics (CYSB-102)” by UYSF.
These courses are conducted by Associate Centers affiliated with the UYSF Foundation.
UYSF Foundation ensures standardized training, quality assurance, and uniform certification standards across all recognized centers.
